The answer is -.5. If you multiply -5 by 1/2 you get -2.5 and then add 2 to get .5

V would equal -3 1/2 or -3.5 because a which equals -5 cancels out 2 making it -3 but also including t would make the answer -3.5 or -3 1/2.
