Hey there!!

Given equation :

... 4 ( 3q - 2 ) = 16q

... 12q - 8 = 16q

Subtract by 12q on both sides

... -8 = 4q

Divide by 4 on both sides

... -8 / 4 = q

... q = -2

Given equation :

4 ( 3q - 2 ) = 16q

Substitute the value of -2 in place of q

... 4 ( -6 -2 ) = 16 × -2

... 4 ( -8 ) = -32

... -32 = -32

∴ Hence proved

Hope my answer helps!!
