If the product of a number and -5 is increased by 6, the result is 2 less than 3 times the opposite number. Find the number

Let, the number = x

In mathematical form, it would be:
-5x + 6 = -3x + 2
-5x + 3x = 2 - 6
-2x = -4
x = -4/-2
x = 2

In short, Your Number would be 2
