The only pair of consecutive integers that
adds to  -15  is  -7  and  -8 .

       ( -7 ) x ( - 8 )  =  + 56 .

x + x +1 = -15
2x +1 =-15
2x=-16
x = -8
x +1 = 76

-8 x -7 = 556

56 is the product of the 2 consecutive numbers that add up to -15.
