Answer: The angle's complement is 43°.
               The angle's supplement is 133°.


Remember: complementary angles add up to 90°.
                     supplementary angles add up to 180°.

To find the measure of the angle's complement:
47 + x = 90
x = 43

To find the measure of the angle's supplement:
47 + x = 180
x = 133
