please help me how do u write in y intercept form a line that goes through (0,2) , (4,1) with a slope of -2??

Use the point slope form equation: y - y1 = m(x - x1)

(0, 2), (4, 1); m = -2
Plug the numbers in. I will use (0, 2).

y - 2 = -2(x - 0)
y - 2 = -2x 
y = -2x + 2
